Valkyrie








    Digital Arts II project where we could make anything we wanted to show off what we had learned. I chose to draw the group Valkyrie from Ensemble Stars since their music slaps. Shu and Mika were drawn with a mouse, so that was challenging. It was fun to get to use my own art style in a project. Completed in Adobe Illustrator. 

    Valkyrie logo design created by Ensemble Stars (though I did recreate it here). The characters Mika Kagehira and Shu Itsuki also belong to Ensemble Stars. The gear design used behind the curtains is from onlinewebfonts.com.

Hot Freaks Album

      A project from Digital Arts III where we had to design the outside and inside of an album cover for a band or artist we enjoyed. I decided to make a new album for the band Hot Freaks including some of my favorite songs of theirs. A drive-in theme seemed fitting for the lovey-dovey style of music they have. The screen (on what would be the inside of the album) is showing the last frame from one of their music videos with an added "The End" to make it seem more like an older movie. The quote from that same side is taken from one of the members about the power of music. Project completed in Adobe Illustrator.      The Cadillac photo on the front was taken from  hoctcars.com and the vintage paper texture is from lostandtaken.com. The black and white drive-in photo is from Getty Images. The road photograph was created by another and the scene on the screen belongs to Hot Freaks.

Dragon Jewels Cereal

    Assignment from Digital Arts III was to make a cereal box design with a mascot and at least 3 pictures. I couldn't think of any dragon cereal mascots so I decided to make one. I drew him with the mouse and decided to make the cereal like the jewels dragons typically sit on. Project completed in Adobe Illustrator.      The General Mills logo belongs to General Mills. The spoon, cereal, and dragon scale texture were created by others.
